Abortion Justice Can’t Wait
We need to ensure the legal right to abortion, but that’s not always enough for people to get the care they need.
Even when abortion was legal nationwide, restrictions like insurance coverage bans, bans on medication abortion, and inhumane policies that target immigrants block people from abortion care.
Now, more and more people are being denied care.
The harm falls hardest on people working to make ends meet, who are more likely to be people of color, young people, LGBTQ people, and gender nonconforming people.
We are done compromising and settling for crumbs. The realities of getting abortion care right now demand bold solutions for lasting change.
We need abortion justice—where abortion care is there for everyone who needs it, without barriers based on who you are, where you are from, or how much you earn.
